Corporate social responsibility
![]() |
As a new company going to market in some of the toughest financial climates experienced for years, we know first hand how decisions and actions taken by the private sector can have profound effects on the health and wellbeing of the economy and the public. Because of this, KnowledgeMill strives to operate in a way that does not just serve our business interests, but also those of the wider community. We believe having a strong corporate social responsibility is key to promoting economic growth in a time of falling revenues and squeezed budgets.
Every year KnowledgeMill will volunteer some of our time to support community programs, contribute our professional expertise to not-for-profit organisations, and help support various business initiatives that address local needs. One particular focus areas for us this year is the Fredericks Foundation. The Fredericks Foundation specialises in providing microfinance loans and business support to the financially and socially excluded. To combat specific problems caused by the recession in 2009, it has also launched a new loan product of up to £10,000 for business start-up finance and £20,000 for existing businesses with a track record. This year, the Fredericks Foundation is launching a new CSR programme in London in partnership with the Capital Community Foundation.
