Hisham Anis – Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Hish has a significant presence within the legal IT arena having been responsible for delivering major IT and business change programmes at Linklaters and Clifford Chance. With over 20 years experience in IT, he has seasoned management skills that are complimented with a strong technical background. Over the years Hish has been part of the Forrester Leadership Board ‘EA Council’ and various global advisory boards and is a regular speaker at industry-specific IT events.

James Allchin – Chief Architect Server Technologies & Co-Founder

James spent significant time working for Oracle Corporation in a development and consulting capacity, delivering software solutions to high profile customers across a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail, finance, government and legal. James has a proven background in designing enterprise-class highly scalable server platforms and is responsible for overseeing server technologies at KnowledgeMill. James also heads up the ContextStore product team.

Marcus Lambert – Chief Architect Client Technologies & Co-Founder

Marcus is a software innovator who has a track record for delivering leading edge solutions which are at the forefront of the latest technology trends. Marcus started his career with a well-regarded software consultancy before joining McKinsey & Company in 2000. With several major IT implementations under his belt, he left to establish Techknowledgeable Solutions. High profile success came in delivering software solutions to both Allen & Overy and Clifford Chance. Marcus is responsible for all of KnowledgeMill’s client side technologies.

Paul McCabe - Chief Operating Officer

Paul has significant experience of IT strategy and multi-million dollar IT change management on a multi-national scale, having served his clients for 10 years with Accenture’s consulting practice. Paul has helped his clients re-focus their IT to reduce costs, achieve sustainability, improve performance and identify opportunities to innovate, create business value, top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.

Phil Starkey – Development Director

The beginning of Phil’s career saw him working for Marconi on complex, real-time electronics systems before moving on to work in the financial IT sector. Here he contributed to the design and development of many large scale banking systems for several City institutions including Goldman Sachs. Phil moved away from consulting when he was headhunted by Linklaters as the Global Applications Development Manager. Phil is very experienced in Microsoft technologies and has also spent a large amount of time working with traditional document management systems from EMC and OpenText. He designed the Linklaters global email integration system “DocXmail” from a desktop perspective and was most recently responsible for developing a world class templating solution at Clifford Chance. Phil has day-to-day product management responsibilities for KnowledgeMill Exchange Warehouse.

Phil Moore - Commercial Director

Phil brings over 25 years commercial experience to the organisation some of which was spent at Unisys and Sun Microsystems where he spent the last 5 years working in the financial services sector. Phil is responsible for building the partner network and establishing the global reach of KnowledgeMill.

Graeme Scott – Director of Client Services

Graeme joins after 10 years with Clifford Chance where he built a reputation as a highly motivated, dynamic and client-focused Project Manager with a proven record of successful end-to-end project delivery. As the Director of Client Services, Graeme is primarily responsible for the successful execution of all client projects but also works closely with Hish and Phil Moore on business development and client relationship management activities.

Elizabeth Fiennes – Head of QA

Elizabeth has in excess of 15 years quality assurance and testing experience with 2 years spent at IBM and 2 years at Microsoft. Elizabeth brings key experience from different organisations that enables her to lead a very effective test effort.

Andy Larder

Andy brings 20 years of experience of building software systems for BT, Linklaters, Clifford Chance and most recently Microsoft. During his time at Linklaters he was responsible for the development of their document management system client, as well as managing the development of an AI based system to automate the creation of legal documents.
