Wanted: Graduate / Junior Software Developers

KnowledgeMill is an independent software vendor based in Central London formed in 2009. We specialise in innovative email management, document management, and integration products targeted at the enterprise market. We use a whole variety of the latest supporting technologies and have strong alliances with Microsoft, Oracle and number of niche software providers.

We are now going through a growth phase and are looking to expand our small successful team. We believe and have proven that the best way to do this is to invest in home grown talent which is why we are looking to recruit two technology graduates. We have two positions available, one to join our client side apps product team and the other to join the server team.

The client side role is primarily focussed on C# .NET in relation to web application development and MS Office integration. The server side role is primarily focussed on Java and Oracle-based development. If you have any of these skills already then this is an advantage but not essential. You will have the opportunity to learn these skills on the job and gain exposure to whole lot more including MS Silverlight, iOS, BlackBerry, Android, SQL Server, and MySQL to name a few.

Ideally you should have at least a 2.1 degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. We would also welcome science-related or maths graduates with a demonstrable experience of programming (perhaps in your own time, as part of a combined course, or an elective module). If you haven’t got these qualifications but genuinely make up for it elsewhere and really believe in your skills then please do still apply.

This is a great opportunity to join an innovative London based company that is going through a very exciting new phase in its journey. We work hard but have a lot of fun in the process. We place a great emphasis on communication and social interaction within the business. We all sit in the same open-plan space, everyone is approachable, and have a great dynamic between each of the teams. We truly value our development staff and offer very competitive salaries and benefits. We provide formal training when needed but you will be learning every day from a very experienced group of colleagues with career backgrounds at software vendors, systems integrators, consultancies, and enterprise businesses. Our executive board is made up of successful business leaders and well-known entrepreneurs within the software industry.

If you want something different from the norm and are looking to make a real contribution from day 1, then please hit the Apply Button

You must be eligible to work in the UK and you will be based full time Monday to Friday at our offices in Central London (near London Bridge)
