This week saw the latest version of the OnePlace platform released to KnowledgeMill customers. Among a whole load of other features, one of the highlights has been out-of-the-box integration with EMC Atmos. As an EMC Velocity Partner we’ve timed this release to coincide with a number of announcements that are taking place by EMC around the Atmos product this week and next.

The huge benefit for OnePlace customers is that they can now plug in Atmos as a native OnePlace storage layer. This means that the customers can now move data in and out of any Atmos device (located on or off site) as part of OnePlace's intuitive business driven ILM policy manager. Integration with with Atmos is a no-cost option in OnePlace and is part of the core feature set. This adds to OnePlace's existing list of compatible storage devices including traditional storage devices (DAS, NAS, SAN), cloud storage providers (Amazon S3, WebDAV) and content-addressable storage (EMC Centera).

EMC Atmos enables businesses to efficiently manage and distribute information across geographies with a highly scalable, purpose-built cloud storage system.
