Managing risk and complying with the legislative mandates and policies relating to electronic data is a growing area of importance for all organisations. Risk and compliance managers are having to demonstrate increasing levels of monitoring and control of user behaviour within their organisations. They need to investigate and respond suitably to risks that affect different parts of their business unfavourably. To comply is to conform to the processes which manage this risk by removing it or transferring away from the organisation.
